Like many Blackline events, there are multiple locations. This includes private venues where airsoft can be used, and public areas where it cannot. BOREAL RIFT takes place across the Peterborough, Kawartha, and Lindsay Ontario region.

The interdiction component of our event involves stopping a moving vehicle, which is an activity that involves some risk. We require all participants to have experience in this procedure to ensure we prevent injuries. Additionally, we find that players who aren't willing to invest extra time training and learning aren't always the best fit for our events.

We have limited spaces for OPFOR and NPCs. These semi-game control elements have limited flexibility in their actions. Currently, roles exist for: The HVTs - Act the part of an important and busy individual with critical timelines to make. Spend most of your time doing important business things, and staying alive Exigent Security Consulting - A close protection detail for the HVT, dedicated to ensuring their safety and security at all times Regional Security - A small checkpoint on an unassuming road where nothing interesting ever happens Drivers - Any individual willing to put safety above all else and to get up close and personal with intense situations If you're interested in one of these roles, please contact us by emailing control@blacklinesimulations.com

Anyone is allowed to sign up for events, however we are likely to separate you from your team and friends. We find those people who are willing to come and focus on the mission are the best fit for our events. We do apologize if this is a deal breaker for you.
