How it Works

After you sign up, we'll send you a series of emails to prepare you for the event. They include briefings on communications systems, tradecraft, and safety. On game day, be within 30 minutes walk of the start point and prepare to activated by text message. During the event, you might find yourself tailing a suspect on the street, watching for a covert meeting, and decrypting messages all in one day. You should expect to do a lot of walking, observing, and talking. While you'll be alone, you'll be working with up to 12 other players connected through the radio. Finally, when the mission ends, you'll go back to your regular life, and no one will know the mission ever happened except for you and your team.

What You'll Need

The most important thing you need to have is a cooperative and role-playing spirit, but there are a few essentials you'll have to bring:

  1. A cell phone with a data plan and the 'Zello' app installed (click HERE for Android or HERE for iOS. Click HERE to read about Zello.)
  2. A wired or wireless headset for your phone. (The kind that has volume controls and an answer/hangup button on the cord are ideal.)
  3. Good walking shoes and clothing for the weather conditions

Safety

Your safety is our priority.  The most significant risk is your lack of attention to your surroundings! Stay safe by crossing roads with caution, and avoid any situations you feel are unsafe. To better understand the risks, read and sign our waiver here:
