About the event
The Development Group is an open-to-all event focused on refining Blackline Rules and systems. It's an opportunity for you to learn some of the basic systems and skills required for events, while also having direct input on the procedures we develop. It is an excellent event to attend if you're new or have wanted to try Blackline events, or if you simply want to practice your skills.
What to expect at Development Group 2207?
- A series of rapid skirmishes to test the Blackline MEDSIM rules and gather feedback
- An opportunity to practice basic patrolling skills
- An chance to test your overnight equipment
- Help develop the Blackline Vehicle Stop Protocol
What you'll need?
- Your fighting load and your weapon, ammunition
- Camouflage clothing (multicam preferred)
- Boots
- Eye protection, a watch, a flashlight, a whistle, notepad w/ pencil, and a compass
- Shelter equipment (preferably a tarp and paracord. No tents)
- Sleep equipment (light sleeping bag or blanket, ground pad)
- Food and water for 24 hours
Additional Recommended Equipment
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellant
- A change of clothes
- A simulated tourniquet and tensor bandage
